LSU v Alabama

LSU (13-0) will take on conference foe Alabama (11-1) again Monday night for the BCS National Championship.

The Tigers won the earlier matchup between these two, a 9–6 defensive struggle in Tuscaloosa that wasn’t decided until overtime and featured four turnovers, four missed field goals and zero touchdowns.

The SEC-only contest ensures the gridiron-frenzied conference their sixth straight title.

Two of the final Heisman Award Nominees will be playing in Alabama running back Trent Richardson and LSU cornerback/punt returner Tyrann Mathieu.

Richardson has totaled 1,583 rushing yards and 20 rushing touchdowns on the season, while catching 27 passes for 327 yards and three more scores.

Mathieu has returned a pair of punts for touchdowns and averages 12.7 yards per return, while on defense he’s forced five fumbles, picked off two passes and has 71 tackles on the season.
