A Louisiana woman was arrested and charged with murder after police said she used boiling cooking oil to attack her friend following an argument.

The St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff’s Office said officers were sent to the 1700 block of Creole Street in LaPlace around 6:45 a.m. on Feb. 26.
