Louise Leonard: The Taste Season 2 Winner Over Chung, Knoeppel

Louise Leonard won The Taste season 2 over Lee Knoeppel, who came in third, and Marina Chung, who came in second.

The season finale saw the three contestants in a “Rich and Poor” challenge.

International chef Jacques Pepin judged them on preperation of a “poor dish” and a “rich dish,” leaving out Jeff Kawakami of the final three.

The final challenge was the breakfast, lunch, and dinner challenge. Three mouthfuls, for three meals of the day. 

Marina made English muffin with quail egg, a pork belly and oyster spring roll ,and short ribs with kale for her three stages, reported Zap2It. Louise chose a fried quail egg, fried oyster po' boy and steak with red wine sauce and mushrooms. Lee decided on Parmesan flan with bacon and quail egg, crab cakes with corn aioli and wagyu strip steak with cauliflower puree. 

Leonard’s win means she gets the $100,000 prize.
