Louis Tomlinson’s mother, Johanna Poulston, has given birth to twins this week, and the One Direction member rushed to be with her when it happened, it was reported.

The babies names are Ernest and Doris, reported The Mirror newspaper.

“Louis is over the moon. He met Ernest and Doris and fell in love with them,” a source close to the matter told the paper.

The source added: “Family is massively important to him so he was made up that he was not abroad and was able to meet them so soon after they were born. His sisters mean the world to him so he’s delighted to have two more siblings to spoil.”

Tomlinson already has four younger half-sisters, including two other twins, Phoebe and Daisy.

“Daniel and Johanna are pleased to welcome twins - a boy Ernest Rupert Atholl Deakin and a girl Doris Poppet Deakin,” a spokesperson for Tomlinson told the paper.

According to Hollywood Life, the twins were born premature, and while his mother is 40 years old, the children are in good health.

Tomlinson is currently on a three-month hiatus from touring with his group, E! News reported.
