LittleBigPlanet 3 is going to be released for PlayStation 3 as well as PlayStation 4.
That news comes courtesy of Steven Isbell, community coordinator for the LittleBigPlanet community.
The game was announced at E3 and will be released in November 2014.
The game will feature Sackboy and his new friends embarking on a big adventure.
Isbell said that more info on the PS3 version will come later.
“Use the unique abilities of Sackboy, OddSock, Toggle and Swoop to explore all corners of the Imagisphere and unravel the mystery of the planet Bunkum,” the developers say on the game’s website. “With powerful customisation tools and a little bit of your imagination, you can evolve the world around you and even make your very own levels and games for Sackboy and his new sack-pals to enjoy.”
The new friends are OddSock, Swoop, and Toggle.
“Each one of these new playable characters has unique abilities, which brings new dynamic gameplay and expands the inventive possibilities in Create mode.”
OddSock can bound up and over walls; Swoop can glide through the skies; and toggle can be the small speedster Little Toggle or the heavy strongman Big Toggle.
