Linkin Park Backs Global Tribute to Chester Bennington, 237 Cities Already on Board

Linkin Park fans all over the world are coordinating a massive worldwide memorial to Chester Bennington and the band is all for it.

Bennington was the star frontman and soul of the band. He commited suicide earlier this month, shocking millions of fans who admired his music.

Bennington’s family announced that they will conduct a private memorial. Respectful of the family’s wishes, the fans are instead using social media and Google Docs to plan hundreds of tributes for their beloved star in cities all over the world.

Benington’s bandmate Mike Shinoda tweeted a link to the list of the memorials planned in cities spanning the six continents, including New York, Los Angeles, Vancouver, Paris, Copenhagen, Tokyo, and beyond.
