‘Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII’ Release Date Soon [Gameplay, Character Info, and Trailer]

“Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII” will be released soon--February 11, 2014--and information about the gameplay and characters is available. Let’s check it out, as well as the trailer.

In this version of Final Fantasy, players are Lightning, who has the mission to save as many souls as possible so that they may be brought to the new world.

“Along the journey, you will encounter familiar faces and engage new foes in all new lands. You must ultimately choose which souls to save and which to abandon...and fully understand Lightning’s true destiny,” according to the game’sdescription.

Lightning’s look, abilities, and actions can be customized through hundreds of weapons and outfit combinations.

The world is constantly moving, resulting in a different journey for every player.

The all-new battle system lets the player control Lightning through blocking, dodging, and countering with precision.

Besides Lightning, characters include Snow, Lumina, Hope, and Noel, though no information is listed for them as of yet.
