Life Sciences Secondary School Lockdown Lifted in NYC After Gun Found

The Life Sciences Secondary School in New York City was on lockdown on Tuesday after a student was found with a BB gun.

The school is on the Upper East Side on East 96 Street.

Police took a student to the 19th Precinct on suspicion of weapons possession, reported the New York Daily News.

The lockdown was lifted after about two hours, around 1:15 p.m.
