One Direction band member Liam Payne has voiced his concerns of the viral video posted by the British publication The Daily Mail that showed Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson allegedly smoking a rolled up joint of marijuana.

“Woah there’s some pretty weird s*** going on ATM everyone just calm down and don’t do anything stupid cuz u can’t take it back,” Payne wrote on his twitter on Wednesday afternoon.

“I know some people are having a laugh and that’s all well and good but some people will take this s*** serious so I suggest we stop,” he continued.

The video, filmed in April when the band members were on their way to a concert in Lima, Peru, was published by The Daily Mail on May 27, 2014. After the video was made public, fans responded with outrage, some posted photos of them burning posters, concert tickets, and unfollowing the singers on their social media accounts.

Payne then added: “Today is such a weird day why don’t we do a #wearahoodyfor1d or a #WearAsManyClothesAsYouCanAtOnceFor1D.”

“Right everybody concert time let’s try and keep the pg rating lol for Christ sake somebody help me restore sanity,” he wrote.

One Direction is currently performing their U.K. leg of the “Where We Are” world tour with their upcoming shows scheduled in Manchester for May 30 to June 1, 2014.
