Liam Neeson will get $20M for his upcoming role in “Taken 3,” according to a report this week.
Deadline.com reported the Irish actor will be paid $20 million to appear in the 20th Century Fox film directed by Luc Besson.
He will again play as retired CIA agent Bryan Mills who uses his skills to rescue his daughter.
Fox and EuropaCorp are now reportedly trying to get former “Taken” co-stars Maggie Grace and Famke Janssen to come on board the project.
As Business Insider points out, Neeson will get paid 20 times more in “Taken 3” than what he got for acting in the first “Taken” in 2008. He earned $15 million for “Taken 2,” which generated more than $376 million at the worldwide box office.
Last year, Neeson told Collider.com and other media entities that “Taken 2” would be the likely last installment.
“I mean how many times can she be taken? I mean, it’s bad parenthood, really, after that,” he said.
