It’s finally possible to de-stress and find your inner lumberjack.

Swinging axes all night with friends will be the norm at Whistle Punks, the first and only urban axe-throwing venue in the UK, opening this Thursday, May 19, in Whitechapel, London.

The experience is dubbed as “the most satisfying and social day or night out you'll ever have”; there’s music but understandably no drinking is allowed.

Axe throwers will be given a safety briefing from a trained instructor and a lesson on throwing techniques before starting a tournament.

“Our experienced throwing coaches will get your throwing like a pro in no time,” states the website.

“You'll get one point for an outer ring, three for the inner ring, five for a bullseye and, if you’re feeling lucky you can bet it all and aim for the tiny seven-point corner spots.”

Depending on the number of people in the group, a 1.5-hour session will cost £25–£30 per person. The “temple of axe throwing” will be open on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
