Television personality Leeza Gibbons, 53, will lead a pack of volunteers on a climb up Mount Washington in New Hampshire to raise funds for Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s Disease on July 31. Gibbons noted in a statement posted on Looktothestars.org, “All of us are involved in a very special project called The Army of Change. This project started with “the Regulars,” a group of regular people who have been impacted by Alzheimer’s and/or Parkinson’s disease. This group decided to climb 10 Mountains in 10 Years to bring awareness and raise funds for these two diseases.” Gibbons is hoping the climb will raise $25,000 in donations for 4 charities, including her organizations, the Leeza Gibbons Memory Foundation and Leeza’s Place.
