Lance Cade, a former World Wrestling Entertainment star, apparently passed away on Friday at 29 due to heart failure, according to a statement from the WWE.

Cade, born Lance McNaught, was trained by wrestler and former WWF star Shawn Michaels and made his debut in 1999, working in Japan before signing contract with WWE.

“Five minutes after my morning tweet I got the call about Lance,” Michaels tweeted. “No words will be good enough. One of my boys is gone. My prayers and thoughts have already been given to his family and will continue. Goodbye Lance. I love you.”

Together with partner Trevor Murdoch, Cade won three World Tag Team Championships.

“WWE extends its deepest condolences to the McNaught family,” reads a WWE statement.

Cade left behind two daughters, one born in 2003 and the other in 2008.
