NEW YORK—Broadway Panhandler, a family-run kitchenware store that has been in the East Village since 1976, is having its annual Columbus Day sale Oct. 9–14. 

The sale includes:

60 percent off all cookware such as All Clad, Le Creuset, and Cuisinart products.
70 percent off all knives such as Wusthof, Shun, Global, and Ken Onion Rain Series.
70 percent off all electrics such as Delonghi, Krups, and Breville products.
