Miller Elementary School and the Wanda Mikes Primary Center were placed on lockdown on Tuesday morning in South Los Angeles. Harmony and Wadsworth elementary schools were also locked down.
CBS Los Angeles reported that there were reports of a man with a possible gun.
The station reported at around 8:30 a.m. that both schools were locked down.
The Los Angeles School Police Department’s Chief of Police Twitter account wrote: “Update: Wanda Mikes Primary Center is also on lockdown due to LAPD activity in the area.”
