Kroger is recalling its Deluxe Chocolate Paradise Ice Cream, a new product that has been sold in Kroger stores in 17 states as well as Jay C, Food 4 Less, Hilander, Owen’s, Pay Less and Scott’s stores in Illinois and Indiana.

One of the ice cream’s ingredients, tree nuts, is not listed on the label. The ice cream can therefore be dangerous for people who are allergic to nuts.

While those without allergies can keep the ice cream without any danger, customers who have purchased the Deluxe Chocolate Paradise Ice Cream and wish to return it can receive a full refund or replacement, according to an official press release.

The states affected by the ice cream recall are:  Texas, Louisiana, Ohio, West Virginia, Kentucky, Michigan, North Carolina, Virginia, Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama, Tennessee, Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, Arkansas, and Mississippi.
