Kristofer Prasinos, 16, has been identified as the victim of a shooting in Hayward’s Centennial Park.
Prasinos was shot on Monday afternoon, and found unconscious near the baseball diamond.
Two other teenagers were taken into custody in connection with the case, reported the Bay Area News Group.
Investigators caught up with the teens in Modesto, where they had fled to after the shooting.
Because of their age, they are beign held in Juvenile Hall.
A friend with Prasinos at the time of the shooting was unharmed.
