Club started better in the second half scoring a converted try to make the score 17-12 but Kowloon pushed ahead again with a penalty and another converted try to make the score 27-12. Club converted again to make it 27-19 and at that stage it looked like they might come back, but each time Club notched up some points, Kowloon responded.
All sides of the Kowloon game were working well; good line-out, strong forward play and good ball handling allowing them to finish this important match well deserved winners at 41-26. This was exactly what they needed to get themselves back in the title race.
In the other two matches, ONEwork’s Valley beat Borrelli Walsh Tigers 46-12 at So Kon Po Recreation Ground; and Verizon HK Scottish dominated SCAA Standard Life CWB (Causeway Bay) Rams 59:14 in their match at Shek Kip Mei.
Newedge Club still lead on 33-points, Abacus Kowloon are second on 29, Leighton Asia HKCC are in third on 28 and Verizon HK Scottish are on 24 points. Kowloon still have a game in hand over the other clubs.
