Knott’s Berry Farm is planning on hiring 2,500 employees for the spring and summer seaons during an upcoming hiring fair, officials announced Feb. 6.

The fair will run from Feb. 18 to Feb. 24, with interviews daily from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Open positions include ride operators, food and beverage workers, lifeguards for their adjacent Soak City water park, and more. Hourly pay will range from $16 to $19, available to applicants 16 and older and based on experience.

The fair is part of a “blitz” of hiring 28,000 employees by parent company Cedar Fair Entertainment Company for its 10 amusement parks in the United States and one in Canada, according to a company news release.

“Our seasonal associates play an important role in our mission of delivering amazing experiences to all of our guests,” said Tim Fisher, Cedar Fair chief operating officer. “A  seasonal job at one of our parks can offer so much more than other workplaces. You can gain valuable experience, develop marketable skills for the future, and make new friends.”

According to the Ohio-based company, jobs with a variety of shifts will be available for those interested in full-time, part-time, seasonal, and occasional work hours.

The company is one of the largest regional amusement-resort operators in the world, now owning and operating 11 amusement parks, four outdoor water parks, and more than 600 RV sites.

Their parks are located in California, Ohio, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Toronto, Ontario.
