A Kingdom Hearts III release date has been teased by once of the voice actors for the game.
Originally thought to come out sometime in 2014, the game has faced several delays and fans have not been able to get much concrete information about either the details of the game or the ultimate release.
But Bill Farmer, one of the voice actors for the game, responded to a fan this week on Twitter.
“We have been recording on it for the last few years,” he said. “It is supposed to come out later this year.”
It was almost a year ago when the last wave of news and rumors came out about the release date, with Square Enix slamming all rumors saying the game would be out soon.
The company also came out after Farmer’s comments to disavow them.
“There was a Goof! The release date for @KINGDOMHEARTS III remains unannounced,” the company said.

The last installment of Kingdom Hearts was released on PlayStation 2 in 2005.
