Kimball Island Fire Forces Evacuation, Sends Smoke Over SF Bay Area

The Kimball Island fire has forced over a dozen people to evacuate the island on Tuesday in California.

The fire is sending plumes of smoke into the air that is ending up over the San Francisco Bay Area.

Coast Guard crews responded to assist in the evacuation.

Firefighters with boats and helicopters are battling the blaze, which has already engulfed one home and is threatening two others, reported Fox40.
