There were no games that had any real impact on the destination of the league title on the weekend, as most teams were preparing for this week’s Quarter Finals of the Hong Kong Football Association Cup.

However, Sun Pegasus took advantage to move into second-place on goal difference ahead of South China; but, with South China having two games in hand on the two teams above them in the table their time in third-place may be short.

Kitchee now lead the First Division table on 38 points, 15 ahead of joint second-placed Sun Pegasus and South China. However, unbeaten in the league this season, Kitchee require four points from their last four games to achieve their third league title in four years.
