A woman was kicked off an airplane heading from Los Angeles to New York for singing a Whitney Houston song.

The woman, who was not named, was recorded singing “I Will Always Love You” and a video was posted on YouTube. A flight attendant says “no photos” and “do not take pictures on the airplane.”

WBTV reported that she was kicked off the plane in Kansas City, Mo., for singing. American Airlines, the plane she was flying on, did not fly her to her destination even though the woman was not charged by local authorities.

“The woman was being disruptive and was removed from the plane for interfering with the flight crew,” Kansas City airport spokesman Joe McBride told the station. “There was a federal air marshal on the aircraft, who subdued the woman and put her in cuffs and removed her from the plane.”

Tom McKenna told CNN that the woman was singing the Whitney Houston song, which was originally written and sang by Dolly Parton.

“I can confirm that she was singing ‘I Will Always Love You’ as she was escorted off the plane, he said.
