An article saying Kerry Washington will be replaced by Meagan Good on “Scandal” is nothing more than a hoax.

The bogus report was published on Cream Bmp Daily, a self-described “satire” website.

“Actress Kerry Washington will be replaced on Scandal after refusing a pay decrease for the ending of the 2014 Season 4 due to an increase in production cost,” it says. “Fans of the show are already speaking out on social media and promising to not support the show anymore, but will instead give ratings to horrible rivals including ‘Being Mary Jane’, ‘The Game’ and a couple of Tyler Perry shows,” it added.

According to its disclaimer, Cream Bmp shouldn’t be taken seriously.

“CreamBmp.com Written by comedian CREAM. This website is comprised of satire and parody of current news and urban culture. For entertainment purposes only,” it says.

Another disclaimer says: “All reports and other information on this page may or may not be 100% accurate. It’s not news, it’s entertainment. All other comments are my personal opinion, but try not to take the [expletive] seriously and come at me ... because I will and do sue. I’m just a young [expletive] tryna get rich. I do not take credit for any media featured on this site. All featured media is the property of its respected owners or whoever submits it to CreamBmp.com.”

For her part, Washington has been tweeting about “Scandal” continually. “#ScandalStyleTheLimited is just 2 months away!” she tweeted on Tuesday night.

According to TV Line, ABC booked veteran television actress Portia de Rossi for a story arc on “Scandal.”

“Scandal” will return on Sept. 25, sandwiched between “Grey’s Anatomy” and the new drama “How to Get Away with Murder.”

Washington was recently spotted with husband Nnamdi Asomugha, the former NFL cornerback, with their 3-month-old daughter at Disneyland. “Thank you @Disneyland for an AWESOME time with fam & friends yesterday!,” she wrote on Twitter.
