Reports on Friday afternoon say that Jefferson Community College in Kentucky was locked down due to an active shooter. Reports a few minutes later said officials gave the all clear and lifted a lockdown that was imposed on the campus.
According to WAAY TV, “The all-clear has been given at a Kentucky campus, after a report of an active shooter. Jefferson Community and Technical College sent out a message to students saying there was a violent incident shortly before 4 p.m. Eastern Time.”
Officials haven’t disclosed any information at this time, as the report notes.

Local stations WAVE 3 and WLKY in Louisville reported that “multiple agencies” have responded to the situation.
