Kendra Wilkinson, of “I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here,” needed time out on the show to take some “time out,” a friend said.

“She wanted to do it to prove to herself what a strong person she is, because she has had a tough year. She needed the time out,” her friend, Jessical Hall, told MailOnline. “When it [the news of Hank’s alleged cheating] came out, I never left Kendra’s side.”

Wilkinson, 29, also recently said she flushed her wedding ring down the toilet after she found out about her husband’s affair.

She explained her reaction on the show. Her husband, Hank Baskett, said he cheated on the realty TV star earlier this year.

“We started the season me finding out through the media that my husband potentially, allegedly cheated on me,” Wilkinson said, via RadarOnline. “So I snap, I just snap.”

Wilkinson, who recently said she and Baskett are trying to patch things up, described what she did next.

“I grabbed my wedding rings. He’s like, ‘What are you doing?, and I went over to the toilet and I put them in the toilet. And he said, ’No, don’t do it, don’t do it.' And I flushed all my rings down the toilet. I had my engagement ring, two wedding bands, my anniversary ring and I just flushed them all down the toilet,” she added.

The former model continued: “He was devastated. He was on the floor just crying. I just snapped, you know. I’m going to deal with this [expletive] – lawyers on the phone, agents, press, public, having drones outside my house, helicopters. I’ve just had a baby. I’m like, what the [expletive] happened to me?”
