Keanu Reeves’s new “47 Ronin” trailer came out this week, showing Reeves fighting off a dragon.

Universal released the U.K. trailer for the film that stars Reeves, who is the half-Japanese and half-British samurai Kai, who leads a group to avenge the death of their master.

The movie, as some reports point out, has been delayed for a while after it was pushed back from its original release date last November. It is believed to be costing as much as $225 million to make.

The film will premiere on Dec. 25.

The film’s website states, “After a treacherous warlord kills their master and banishes their kind, 47 leaderless samurai vow to seek vengeance and restore honor to their people. Driven from their homes and dispersed across the land, this band of Ronin must seek the help of Kai (Reeves)—a half-breed they once rejected—as they fight their way across a savage world of mythic beasts, shape-shifting witchcraft and wondrous terrors.”

It added: “As this exiled, enslaved outcast becomes their most deadly weapon, he will transform into the hero who inspires this band of outnumbered rebels to seize eternity.”

Reeves will also soon appear in “Man of Tai Chi,” which he also directed.
