Craigengower Cricket Club’s Robin Chok helped Kowloon Cricket Club to win the Hong Kong Lawn Bowls Association Triples League Division 1 title after denying second-placed Kowloon Bowling Green Club a clean sweep in the final game of the season last weekend, Feb 23.

Before the final match KBGC needed to win 8-nil and by 10 shots to surpass KCC for the title—who had already finished all their season’s games and led by eight points.

While two of the three KBGC teams had no problem getting the results they needed, the team led by China International Terence Lee faced stubborn resistance from Chok and lost the game 16:14.

The two points dropped allowed KCC to complete their collection of Premier and Triples leagues titles this season.

At the other end of the table, Indian Recreation Club and the Police A team will play in Division 2 next season. Their position will be replaced by Division 2 champion Club de Recreio and City Lawn Bowls Club.
