Katie Couric “Today:” The former co-host on the show was in talks of being brought back on, but the talks ultimately didn’t work out.
“There were some possible overtures for me to go back to the ‘Today’ show, but they evaporated,” Couric told Howard Stern during an interview.
Couric said that being a co-host on “Today” was “the best job.”
Couric left the show in 2006 to anchor “CBS Evening News.”
