Rumors about Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, is pregnant with a second child keep on going.
The latest one--published in GLOBE magazine’s Aug. 4 edition--claim that Kate suffered a miscarriage.
According to Celebrity Dirty Laundry, “Kate suffered a miscarriage in spite of being extra careful. She and William have reportedly been sticking together and supporting each other through this upsetting ordeal all while putting on a brave public face while celebrating George’s first birthday. The couple has let it be known that they are hoping for three kids in about five years time and Kate has decided not to let this ordeal prevent her from trying again to expand their family.”
However, the GLOBE and Celebrity Dirty Laundry also appear to be citing a statement made by Kate’s childhood friend, Jessica Hay, which was refuted by Kensington Palace. Hay said that she was pregnant with a second child a few days ago.
A spokesperson with the Palace told ET Canada that Kate and Hay haven’t spoken in “many years.”
“Australia’s New Day reports that the Duchess of Cambridge is pregnant with her second child, based on information that has come from Kate’s former friend Jessica Hay. But, ET Canada has learned from Kensington Palace that the Duchess has not spoken to Jessica Hay for very many years,'” ET Canada said in a report last week.
The spokesperson also said Kate “is not in contact with her at all.”
And few weeks ago in late May, Kate was spotted with husband Prince William sampling alcohol at a historic distillery in Scotland, suggesting she’s probably not expecting.
The Royal Family has not said a word about Kate being pregnant with a second child.
According OK magazine, the pregnancy “rumors are, of course, just rumors and Clarence House have yet to comment or confirm anything.” It added: “They have halted bets on the duchess being pregnant again after she sparked pregnancy rumours recently. Coral and Ladbrokes have banned wagers on another royal baby despite already taking bets earlier this week.”
