Kate Middleton is “starting to feel really pregnant,” a family friend has said in a new report, while another is claiming that she will have a girl.

“She’s been joking about never passing up an opportunities to use the loo!” the person told Us Magazine.

The Duchess of Cambridge announced in September that she would be having her second child, due in April. There’s been speculation on the gender of the baby, but one report on a gossip site is saying she’s “designing a girl-themed nursery.”

Celeb Dirty Laundry, citing some of its sources, said that “we’re hearing that the nursery might not be as gender-specific has been rumored, largely because Kate doesn’t subscribe to the traditional notions of femininity and gender bias.”

Earlier this week, a source told Star Magazine that for her baby shower, “there were pink-iced cupcakes, pink cocktails, and a huge white cake.”

According to Us, Kate is also starting to feel better after suffering severe morning sickness. She and Prince William will also head to New York City and Washington, DC--where William will meet President Obama--starting from Sunday.

“Now that things are settled health-wise, she’s loving being surrounded by her girlfriends, having a laugh and talking baby things,” the source added.

The source also told Us that Prince George “won’t have to share his bedroom,” adding: ““I’m not sure George understands that Kate is pregnant. But they are talking to him about having a new brother or sister. They’re making sure he’s prepared the best they can.”

Over the weekend, the White House announced Prince William will meet with Obama on Monday. It will be William’s first visit to Washington.

According to the BBC, Obama has praised the Duke of Cambridge’s work against “a devastating environmental problem” in illegal wildlife trafficking.

William and Kate also are slated to join Tom Hanks, opera singer Renee Fleming and others at a black-tie, up-to-$10,000-per-seat scholarship fundraiser for the University of St. Andrews, reported AP.
