Karrueche Tran, the girlfriend of singer Chris Brown--who recently suffered a seizure--called for “prayers all day” for Brown.
“She heard about Chris’ unfortunate accident this morning and the first thing she did was grab her phone and call to him to make sure he was all right,” the source close to her told Hollywood Life. “She couldn’t believe it, she thought the worst and cried,” the source continued.
“ A lot on my mind today .. I need a hug,” Tran also wrote.
Nicole Perna, spokesperson with Brown, elaborated on the nature of the incident.
She told The Associated Press that the “continued onslaught of unfounded legal matters and the nonstop negativity” was what caused the seizure.
A doctor looked at Brown, 24, but he wasn’t hospitalized. Brown had the seizure while he was working in a Los Angeles studio.
Brown has been on probation since the 2009 beating of his ex-girlfriend, Rihanna.
Joyce Hawkins, Brown’s mother, also called for support.
“God is with you angel, and mom is too,” Hawkins tweeted.
Earlier this week, Brown said that he would give up making music.
“Don’t worry mainstream America,” he tweeted on Tuesday. “After this X album, it'll probably be my last album. … Being famous is amazing when it’s for ur music and talent. I’m tired of being famous for a mistake I made when i was 18. I’m cool & over it!”
