A Pakistan International Airlines bound for Dubai caught on fire but landed safely at the Karachi airport on Sunday.

Sialnews.com reported that fire officials rushed to Quaid-e-Azam International Airport to deal with the fire.

The plane was flying over Shahrahe Faisal when the fire erupted.

An explosion was also heard in the area.
