Remember when Kanye West vowed to only stream “The Life of Pablo” only on Tidal and that it would “never never never be on Apple. And it will never be on sale”?

Guess he wasn’t satisfied with the 250 million streams on Tidal, because as of April 1, “The Life of Pablo” is now available on other music streaming platforms including Apple Music and Spotify.

The album is also available for purchase on West’s website for a price of $20.

Fans must have thought the 21-time Grammy Award winner’s crew were playing an early April’s Fools trick on them when the Rihanna-assisted track, “Famous” and “I Love Kanye” off the album were spotted on Apple Music and Spotify on March 31.

But this is no joke.

According to label executives at Def Jam Recordings, “The Life of Pablo” is an “evolving art project” that will continuously release “new updates, new versions, and new iterations.”
