Kanye West Laughs at Self With Joke

Kanye West is up to his old tricks again—sort of.

West, along with wife Kim Kardashian and a plethora of other celebrities, attended the April 23 marriage of David Grutman and Isabela Rangel.

As “DuJour” magazine founder Jason Binn was congratulating the newlyweds, the 38-year-old rapper reverted to circa 2009 West. 

Grutman posted an Instagram video of West taking the microphone from Binn, to say: “I’mma let you finish—Dave and Isabela had one of the best weddings of all time.” 

In 2009, West famously interrupted Taylor Swift on stage as she accepted the best female video award at the MTV Music Awards. West then declared that Beyonce had made “one of the best videos of all time. Of all time!” for her single, “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It).”

Grutman captioned the video, “Well I guess this says it all. I love you @isabelarangela Grutman.”

The crowd erupted with laughter and elicited a rare smile from West.
