Kailash Kher, the Indian pop-rock singer, is rumored to have split with his bandmates Naresh and Paresh Kamath after reports said he’ll be doing solo work for films.
But according to Bollywood Life, there’s no split.
“We are a family and we work closely as a team always and will continue to do so,” he said.
He added: “I am also composing for another untitled film by Anand as well as Dr Chandra Prakash Dwivedi’s Z Plus and Hansal Mehta’s forthcoming film. All films are expected to release this year.” Later, he said, “I am looking forward to my new definition of filmi music.”
He also gave an interview with the Times of India this week.
“Film music has to take care of the tastes of the masses,” he said.
Currently, he’s working on “Desi Katte,” “Z Plus” and the upcoming film from Hansal Mehta.
