Kaila Mendoza Allegedly Caused Accident Just Hours After Tweeting ‘2 Drunk 2 Care’

Kaila Mendoza, who allegedly caused a crash that killed one youth and left another in critical condition, has boasted online about being “2 drunk 2 care” and a “pothead princess.”

Mendoza, 21, has posted numerous updates on Twitter and Facebook describing an almost constant state of intoxication.

“My car permanently smells like weed,” she said in one post on Twitter.

“Oh, ya know, just rolling a blunt in the airport parking lot,” she said in another.

“I have a test at 8am, why am I drunk right now,” she said in another.

Her posts include a picture of a blunt–or a marijuana cigarette–and a nougat of the illegal drug.

Mendoza isn’t yet charged in the crash, which happened in Coral Springs, Florida on the Sawgrass Expressway. The crash left Marisa Catronio, 21, dead, and her friend Kaitlyn Nicole Ferrante, also 21, in critical condition, reported the Sun-Sentinel.

Mendoza and Ferrante were both taken to Broward Health North. Mendoza was in serious condition as of the last update, earlier in the week.

Mendoza crashed into Catronio’s car head-on as she was going the wrong way.

Florida Highway Patrol troopers say they’re waiting for the results of a toxicology report for Mendoza.

Gary Catronio, Marisa’s father, said he was planning to launch a campaign to outfit highway access ramps with spikes or flashing warning signals to alert drivers who are going the wrong way.

The crash happened around 1:45 a.m. Less than three hours earlier, Mendoza tweeted: “2 drunk 2 care.”
