An article saying K. Michelle, the singer, was hospitalized isn’t real.

The website CreamBMP Daily published an article claiming that K. Michelle, born Kimberly Michelle Pate, was hospitalized when temperatures got “below zero in parts of New York.”

According to its disclaimer, CreamBMP is written by comedian CREAM

“This website is comprised of satire and parody of current news and urban culture. For entertainment purposes only,” it reads.

Other fake articles by CREAM include one saying that NBA legend Michael Jordan was robbed for his Gamma Blue sneakers in Chicago, while another said that rapper Chief Keef was “arrested at McDonald’s for putting soda in a water cup.”

The K. Michelle article got more than 30,000 “likes” and shares on Facebook--with some people believing it was real.
