Justin Timberlake has announced that he plans to return to music, after a recent focus on his acting career.

Currently Timberlake is starring in Facebook movie The Social Network. Shooting for I’m.Mortal, a sci-fi film, starts later this month, with plans for other movies to be released next year.

Timberlake released his last album in 2006. He said the music industry has changed so much that he will have to relearn everything.

“The last time I put out a record the landscape of music was completely different,” he said, according to MusicRooms.net “It’s crazy because it was only four years ago, but the market has changed so much now.”

“I will get round to making an album, but I’m enjoying my life right now,“ he said. ”Doing a record and committing to a tour is like a three-year commitment.

For now Timberlake is having a break from the spotlight, taking time out to renovate his house and go on road trips.

“I will say this though—when I do it, I will do it differently to anything I’ve ever done before,“ he added. ”Trying something out of the norm, that’s what inspires me.”
