Omar Sy of “The Intouchables” is joining the cast of the upcoming Jurassic World, or Jurassic Park 4.
The French actor is also starring in “X Men: Days of Future Past,” which hits theaters in May.
Jurassic World is slated for a June 12, 2015 release.
Filming is slated to start soon on Hawaii with thousands turning up for recent auditions.
Sy’s role is unclear but he tweeted on Friday that he’s a “fan of this saga from the beginning” and “very proud to be part of the cast.”
Director Colin Trevorrow said that he was “very happy to welcome” the actor.
Jurassic World is set several decades after the original movie and will have mostly new characters.
Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard have been cast in the lead roles while Vincent D’Onofrio and Irrfan Khan are the main villains.
Steven Spielberg is one of the producers.
