It’s Manuel Vides vs Juan Carlos Reveco in a Friday night fight on March 21.

WBA flyweight champion Reveco (32-1, 17 KO) will face Vides (15-2, 9 KO) at the Villa La Nata Sporting Club in Buenos Aires.

The fight was postponed twice before the bout was finally set.

It’s starting at 10 p.m. local time (9 p.m. ET).

The fight will be broadcast on TyC Sports in Argentina and RPC Channel 4 in Panama. A live stream doesn’t appear to be available.

Reveco, 30, of Las Heras in Argentina has the home country advantage here while his opponent, 23, hails from Panama.

Reveco has established himself as a legitimate champion but needs to dispatch Vides handily as big fights with fellow champion Juan Francisco Estrada, and Roman Gonzalez, are on the horizon, reported Bleacher Report.

“If he struggles with the less-experienced youngster, it could create doubt about how prepared he'd be for fights with the elite fighters in his weight class,” it reported.

While Reveco has battled in 207 rounds Vides has only fought in 81 so far.

If Vides is going to win, he’s going to need to use his longer reach, estimated at two inches.

“Vides is going to need to exploit his length advantage to win this fight by keeping Juan Carlos Reveco at the full extension of his punches,” said Briggs Seekins of Bleacher Report. “Vides has a decent jab, but he’s going to need to be active with it, firing two or three at a time.”
