Joy-Anna Duggar Says She’s Suffered a Miscarriage: ‘We’ve Cried Countless Tears’

Joy-Anna Duggar Forsyth, who appeared in “Counting On” and “19 Kids and Counting,” said she suffered a miscarriage.

Forsyth announced the tragic news on her Instagram account on July 3, sharing a somber photo. Joy-Anna and husband Austin Forsyth are seen on a hospital bed in the black-and-white image.

“Today marks one week since we heard these words… ‘So this is your baby’s heart (pointing to the ultrasound screen). I don’t hear a heartbeat or see any movement,” Joy-Anna wrote in the post.

When they went in for her 20-week ultrasound screening, they learned the news.

“It was a baby girl,” she wrote.

“Although we don’t understand why, God has given us unexplainable peace and comfort during this very difficult time,” she said.

“We named her Annabell Elise. Annabell means ‘God has favored me,’ and Elise means ‘God satisfies.' What a precious thing to know that when our daughter opened her eyes, the first thing she saw was the face of Jesus,” she wrote. “Please pray for continued healing, not only physically but for our hearts as well.”

The two are already the parents of a son, Gideon, who is about 18 months old.

“We love y'all so much and we grieve with you over this loss,” said Jessa Duggar Seewald, Joy-Anna’s sister. “I love the name you chose and the meaning behind it ... Annabell Elise will forever be in our hearts,” E! Online reported.

Celebrity comedian Freddie Starr died aged 76 at his home in Spain, according to reports.

The body of the British-born funnyman was reportedly discovered by a caregiver at his apartment in Mijas on the Costa del Sol on May 9, the Mirror reported.

Starr had been ill.

A neighbor, who asked not to be named, told the Mirror: “His carer found him dead in his chair at around 3:30 p.m. Police arrived first and then later an ambulance arrived and he was taken away.

“His next door neighbor, who is a nurse, said he was definitely dead. She said she thinks he may have suffered a heart attack.”

Kelly Jobanputra

BBC Radio 6 music presenter Kelly Jobanputra, of Swindon in southwest England, died on April 26, according to the Swindon Advertiser. She was tragically struck and killed by a train, according to reports.

The celebrity radio host had just turned 40 in April, The Sun reported, and last year had given birth to her second child.

Fatima Ali

“Top Chef” alum Fatima Ali died on Jan. 25, after a battle with terminal cancer. She was 29.

Former “Top Chef” contestant Bruce Kalman paid tribute to her: “It’s with a heavy heart we say goodbye to Fatima Ali today, as she has lost her battle with cancer,” he wrote.
