Joshua Phillip Klimas has been arrested for threatening to kill President Barack Obama.
Klimas, 32, was arrested on November 20 over the threats, the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Connecticut said on Thursday.
Klimas appeared before a judge and was ordered to undergo a psychiatric evaluation.
Klimas sent several messages to the whitehouse.gov website that threatened Obama and his family.
“If you do not resign by the end of the year I will kill you!” Klimas said.
The office said Klimas, of Coventry, has also threatened other people.
