Josh Romney saved four people after a car crash then in a tweet shared a photo of him grinning next to the car, which had crashed into a house.

“Was first on scene to big accident, see pic of car in the house,” he said.

“ lifted 4 people out to safety. All ok. Thankful,” he added.

Romney is one of the sons of former presidential hopeful Mitt Romney.

Some people congratulated Romney on his heroics.

“Glad you was able to help them,” said one.

“Great job Josh,” said another, Elldon Elledge.

Others weren’t pleased with the picture.

“Who tweets a pictures of themselves at the science of a car accident!?! Desperate for attention, much?” said Maria Lia Calvo.

“Only a Romney would see this as a photo op,” added Gail Van Derworp.

Romney elaborated on the situation in a statement obtained by KSL-TV.

Romney and his wife and children were driving home after Thanksgiving when he saw a vehicle, after narrowly missing hitting his car, drive into the kitchen of a nearby home.

Romney entered the home and opened the driver side door and spoke with the four people. He helped them get out of the car, and they were unhurt.

““My family and I are grateful that no one was seriously injured and glad to have been able to help those affected by this terrible accident,” he said. “What I did to help the people involved in the accident is what anyone else would do who witnessed such a potentially dangerous situation.”
