Jorge Doria, a famed Brazilian actor, died on Wednesday, it was reported. He was 92.
The Veja news website reported that Doria was hospitalized since late September in Rio de Janeiro.
He died at 2:05 p.m. local time due to respiratory and renal problems, a spokesperson with Hospital Barra D’Or told the website.
Wife Isabel Cristina Gasparin said last month in an interview that she was expecting his death.
“Everything has its time,” she was quoted as saying.
He started acting in 1951 and continued working until the 2000s.
On Twitter, users expressed sadness over his death.
