Footage has emerged of NBA legend Michael Jordan schooling O.J. Mayo at Jordan’s basketball camp in 2006.
Jordan told Ahmad Rashad in a recent interview that Mayo, who is currently playing for the Milwaukee Bucks, attended his basketball camp as a high schooler–and kept talking trash.
So Jordan played Mayo, hoping to teach him a lesson.
According to Larry Brown Sports, the video below is recorded from the night that Jordan schooled Mayo.
A tipster told the sports news website that other players on the court included future NBA players Jerryd Bayless, Glen “Big Baby” Davis, Jared Dudley, Coby Karl and Julian Wright.
Mayo said via Twitter, referring to the games, “You don’t talk trash unless you doin some work!!!”
And “Also I have the Tape!!! #onmyMOMMA lol he got the best of me (of course) but please believe that I made him turnUp!! Lol”
