Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier is on the map after the brawl during the UFC 178 media day on Monday.

Jones and Cormier started going at it and then tweeted threats afterward.

UFC 178 is scheduled for Saturday, September 27 in Las Vegas.

Cormier replaced title challenger Alexander Gustafsson after the latter was forced out because of an injury.

Cormier is undefeated so far (15-0, 4-0 UFC) but will face a tough challenge in Jones (20-1).

MMA oddsmaker Nick Kalikas made Jones a -215 favorite (bet $215 to win $100) while Cormier opened as a +165 underdog (bet $100 to win $165) at 5Dimes Sportsbook.

Boavada has Cormier at +135 and Jones at -165 while Sportsbook has Cormier at +125 and Jones at -155.

Jones could easily lose this match; he admitted himself that Cormier is a good wrestler back in 2012, although he clarified that MMA isn’t wrestling.

Gustafsson sees a close match but made a prediction during a previous interview with Bleacher Report.

“It’s an interesting matchup,” said Gustafsson. “Both are great athletes and it’s going to be a tough fight for sure. But Jones has his height and reach advantage over DC, so I think that will be the key thing in this fight. I think Jones by decision.”
