Jon Heder, best known for his role in “Napoleon Dynamite,” has been cast in a new Fox comedy that also stars Jane Kaczmarek and David James Elliot.
The yet untitled show has Ricky Blitt as the writer and Johnny Galecki and Stephen McPherson as the producers, reported Deadline.
Heder hasn’t starred in much since “Blades of Glory,” with Will Ferrell.
The series will focus on an intelligent but underachieving thirty something man, Heder, who lives with his mom, Kaczmarek.
However, his life gets upended when she gets married, to Elliot, and he and his three teenage children move in.
