At least three people were shot near a Johns Creek country club near Atlanta, Georgia, on Thursday night, but it turned out to be a prank phone call, according to reports.
A man called the police, saying he shot three people and was holding another person hostage. It turned out to be a hoax, according to AJC.com and local media stations.
John’s Creek is an affluent area located just north of Atlanta.
FOX Atlanta reported that police surrounded the country club after the call was made.
