John Cena is considering proposing to girlfriend Nikki Bella, according to a new clip from the upcoming season of Total Divas.
Also, while Cena has vowed in the past that he doesn’t want children, which may prevent a marriage from happening.
In a clip from Sunday’s season premiere, Bella goes to lunch with her sister Brie Bella and reveals a recent conversation she had with him.
“Let me ask you something, it is completely hypothetical,” Cena told her. “Let’s just say, I were to ask you to marry me, and we get married. Is that enough?”
“I don’t know, that’s not something you can just answer,” Nikki says.
“He said, hypothetically, would marriage be enough?” Nikki told her sister, repeating part of the conversation and referring to the children aspect.
“I understand John might be the one and you might feel satisfied in life,” Brie asks. “But you have to really think, will you?”
“But he’s changing,” Nikki points out. “For him to even ask me the question about marriage just shows you that he’s changing.”
Brie jokes that they should freeze Nikki’s eggs just in case, and also wonders whether the marriage conversation is “some kind of trap.”
Total Divas season 3 is set to premiere at 9 p.m. EDT on September 7, although further details about the premiere or any other episodes haven’t been revealed apart from E!’s press release earlier this year.
